Stores Associate for Inventory, Shipping & Receiving

Lafarge & Egge, our highly accomplished and accredited tubing division, is looking for a motivated and skilled Stores (Inventory) that is willing to work hard, have fun, and help advance our company.

This is a full time position whose primarily responsible for part marking product and picking materials to jobs per the customer bill of material. Also provides backup to deburr/blending and other functions as necessary

Duties & Responsibilites
  • Pick materials to manufacturing orders
  • Part mark per customer and industry specifications using electrochemical etch, tape, rubber stamp and inkjet.
  • Verify and maintain inventory accuracy
  • Package parts appropriately for storage
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment.
  • Stage work for manufacturing by picking materials to work orders by the start date on the "queue list"
  • Work with Purchasing to resolve material or fitting shortage problems.
  • Crosstrain in shipping and receiving
  • Must be open to Deburring (Blending) machined parts
  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities
  • Entry level to 5 years work experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in manufacturing preferred
  • Experience in Aerospace preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Working knowledge of typing, Windows, Microsoft Office, website navigation, and ERP.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to Shop/Industrial environment. The noise level in the work environment has potential to be 89.4 decibels, which requires OSHA approved ear protection. Frequently used PPE in this position is: Ear protection, dust masks, respirators, gloves, and safety glasses.

L&E follows all state and local guidelines for COVID-19. All employees are required to follow guidelines for mask wearing, hand washing, and social distancing.
